Have a go at this, shots taken from the A380 on approach to Singapore. All these ships are anchored there as they have no cargo to transport due to the global economic crisis. The volumes of vessels is amazing. And this is just in Singapore alone.

You'd have to imagine not all of those ships will ever sail again. Probably worth more as scrap metal.
