Anyone having problems with Qantas site last 2 days?

I have had the flash screens appear over different areas of the screen. For example, the "Global Deals" screen which appears next to the "Domestic Deals" on the homepage has appeared under the "Domestic Deals" box, hence blocking the booking engine screen. Similar flash box movements in other screens also occured which blocked areas I was trying to access, but I can't remember which. My guess is it may have been a glitch when they introduced the spinning coin effect of their "transfer your credit card points by March 31" notice and that affected some of the other sections.

I had lots of trouble yesterday trying to change a booking.

Try changing the country type and you may get in...that's what i did yesterday...qantas.co.nz seems to work at the moment.

Probably due to the increased traffic responding to the $900 return US fares!!! :eek:

I note that when you Google Qantas, it comes up with “Qantas Temporary - Page – Australia”.

Maybe this is contributing to the issues that have been occurring?

Evening all, I had some troubles using the QF site this morning. Specifically it was with the booking functionality.

Maybe that is why we had such a problem with the website ourselves that we still do with Qantas, I am rather annoyed with them but not a lot I can do.

Anyway we got some of the cheap flights to the USA out of Sydney for about $500.00 each way.
