Have noticed today on PP that VH-FIX (http://www.airliners.net/photo/Pearl-Aviation-Australia/Beech-Super-King/0933629/L/&tbl=&photo_nr=1&sok=&sort=&prev_id=1093398&next_id=0591497) is doing a lot of what seems like touches and goes at Sydney today. Airliners.net has the aircraft as Pearl Aviation Australia. Does anyone know what it was up to?
Cheers
Gerard

What is the procedure for ILS calibration?
Lots of high speed, gear up approaches and a missed approach conducted at ~100'. AsA techs are normally stationed at the ILS equipment with their own monitoring gear.

Is the aircraft overnighting at SYD? After Runway 16R ILS was back online, I didn't see VH-FIX leave SYD on my PlanePlotter.

With that sort of flight path, that would be a fair assessment.

Its a sight being on the ground watching the fly pasts, they come in low and fast and break away quite sharp. Last time I saw it happen was last year they were operating on RWY07.
