Hi all was in Brissy today flying home and spotted this 737 in norfolk colours. It had been towed over from the eastern hangers is it a new one? I thought they only had 737-200's? Sorry for the poor quality but it was a long way away and i was on my phone.
Cheers Nick

That actually looks to be one or the Airwork NZ freighters. ZK-TLA,b,c,d are all 737-300 F's.

Someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

VH-NLK is owned by Our Airline and will operate the Norfolk flights from mid next month

The 737-200 IN Norfolk colours is operated by Ozjet and currently operates those services.

They're still there...just. We see one in Sydney on a semi-regular basis, but then my shift patterns aren't exactly great for seeing daily movements!

The OzJet 737-200 (VH-OZD??) in Norfolk livery is still a regular visitor to YSSY.

Will the Our Airline aircraft be running alongside the OzJet one or will it be replacing it????

Nick,

Our Airline won the contract and Ozjet apparently lost it, but who is to say they wont both operate there is speculation that Ozjet may continue???

Time will tell i guess.

I should have added that VH-OZX has been the Ozjet I've seen most recently at Sydney.

OZX has been doing purely charter work from what I understand. I don't know what OzJet intend on doing after their Norfolk Air contract expires. Perhaps they will be suited to doing the Timor/Christmas/Cocos Islands run that SAW will not be covering anymore. I assume the 737-200 would have sufficient capacity for ops to those destinations.

Evening all,

The Norfolk Air flight tonight is showing as a B733 tonight. I presume that it may be VH-NLK.

An Oz-Jet 737 landed at Mascot on Saturday night.

It's coincidental seeing this thread, as I was going to ask what the story is with them.

Do they actually operate regular timetabled domestic runs?
