Kiddies,
Anyone in the Willytown area hear the Caribou doing some low runs tonight (Friday Night 1/5).
Last time I saw/heard it, it was heading towards Singleton I think. Are they doing some paradrops up there??
Anyone have any info?
Update 9.08pm
Callsign was Wombat 47. Willy tower was operational for the movements, wherever they were going. It certainly came low, slow and loud over my house. This seemed to be the last TX as the tower 'wished them a good night'
Update 9.29pm
Well who knew, there is another Bou, number two, Wombat 48 approaching Willy runway One Two. The number of Bou just grew. This I know to be true. Most unusual movements when the sky is not Blue.
Update 9.46pm
Well, they are still buzzing around. In to Willy, then about 15-20mins later they are up and buzzing around below 1000ft, then back to Willy. Had to squeeze Mike Victor Yankee in between some of their Hijinks....
