Evening all,
Quick question for those who know, any chance that Virgin Blue operate the E-Jets on the Melbourne to Brisbane route at all?
I'm on a business related day trip BNE-MEL-BNE tomorrow and would obviously be chuffed if I was able to nail a ride on an Embraer while I'm at it!
Any info would be much appreciated.

Craig,
According to the virgin blue timtable it states all Melbourne-Brisbane are operated by 737's
Hope this helps abit.

So it does! I had searched the DJ site for a "Schedules" link but couldn't find one and didn't think to look for a "Timetable"! Thanks for pointing out to me what should have been obvious, appreciate it.
A shame, I was hoping a later flight than mine at 1800 may have been an E-Jet.
Short of re-ticketing via Sydney, which isn't going to happen, I think my aspirations to jump on an Embraer will have to wait.

Come down to HBA via CBR and then you can try the E90 on BNE-CBR and the E70 on CBR-HBA. :)

Evening all,
Just returned from my trip to Melbourne to take a tour of the Toyota plant at Altona.
Both flights departed on time and were heavily loaded with self loading freight. The service was great, the crew very friendly (and good looking!) and the aircraft in good condition.
Flew down on B737-700 VH-VBS and returned on B737-800 VH-VOD.
Keep up the great work Virgin Blue!

VH-VBS flew CHC-MEL late 11/05 from maintenance, just if you happen to be curious.
