Hi all

I'm currently looking at flying SYD-BKK-SYD on TG in May/June and am interested in the aircraft types and IFE onboard. One way clearly says 773, the other all models of 777. Are there any specific aircraft types allocated to specific flights? Also their website is not all that specific on which aircraft have AVOD fitted to Y class - it appears some of the fleet are fitted and some not. Is it the luck of the draw or do they dedicate specific aircraft to Australian routes?

thanks in advance

All I know is that Thai 994 (the morning flight) is operated by a 777-200 ER, Thai 996 (the afternoon flight) is also operated by a 777-200 ER and Thai 992 to BKK via BRI (the night flight) is currently being operated by a 777-300.

I've travelled in several of their B744's recently ex-SYD - some had had the new fitout some without. None had Y class AVOD. Can't speak for the 777s
