Day Trip to SYD

So I am on a day trip to SYD. From MEL Flying QF420 (A330-300) on the way back to MEL QF467 (A330-200) my first flights on A330s and I get both:D. I have not been to SYD for a while what are some great spotting areas around the airport?

Shep's Mound in the morning (although that's nearly over), Tower Beach or Observation Deck in the afternoon.
