I now have PlanePlotter running alongside ACARS and have an upload of the live screen updated every 15 minutes on www.16Right.com (http://www.16Right.com)

I am displaying my own ACARS data alongside shared data from other PlanePlotter users around the country, and so far quite impressed with the application.

It is interesting to use the contrails function to see what Sydney looks like after a full day of activity. MARLN and WHALE from the east, RIVET and ODALE from the southwest and BOREE from the north, all stand out as major tracks into YSSY. The Katoomba and Richmond departures are also obvious, as are the curved approach and departure tracks just north and south of the airport. Cathay A330 B-LAF is on the ground at Sydney while QF B737-800 VH-VYF and JQ A320 VH-VQW approach from the south west. Fairly quiet at this time of night.

Always interesting with the contrails, love how you get almost a circle around the airport after a full day of departures and arrivals.
Good stuff Grahame. Another addition to your already great site, which has turned out to be an invaluable point of reference.
Keep up the good work and thanks for all the effort you've put into it!

Cheers
Gerard
