Will miss the DC10's they operate, amongst other things from them. :D

Think Sam Chui quoted it best - "Biman - Hot boy, Hot girl!"

I think they'll still be keeping "Hot Boy, Hot Girl" David just replacing the equipment they operate

One has to always raise an eyebrow at Biman. Recently they took ACMI leases on two 737-800 on Peagus main route was to operate into KUL.

The previous route either a DC-10 or A310 was always chockers both in pax & cargo. Now they have moved down to a 738 they cannot carry as much as the could resulting in lossed revenue!

Bruce,

This will be only short term until their 4 x 77W's come online, and 4 x 787's whenever they come online..

They also have purchase rights to an additional 4 x 77W's & 4 x 787's

;)

Don't think so, the 737's have taken over majority of the flights to KUL and SIN. The 777's are mooted for Middle East / Europe & American destinations, on the cards are a non - stop DAC - LHR service.

From what I have heard, Boeing are actively trying to give Biman earlier delivery slots for the 777's but Biman are holding their ground. Don't know why they wouldnt, frequent u.s on the DC-10 / A310's are a pain.

Wish they would hurry up and replace the FK28's!
