Hi There,

I just wanted to ask a question about the British Airways flights to Sydney. I recently read in the Australian newspaper that BA was altering the winter services to Australia where in November I believe there will only be one BA jumbo arriving here; whilst over the summer the second flight will return but it will be with a second jumbo (much to my delight!).
However mum and I went to the airport today hoping to catch the BA10 flight (the 747) that I thought always left at 5:30pm but it was not there. When I arrived home later tonight I found that BA16 left at 3:30pm and BA10 left at 4:35pm.

Sorry if this is completely 'out of whack' and wrong or off topic here, but I love the BA 747 and just wanted to know what was happening with its' flight to SYD so that I don't go all the way to Sydney to find I have missed it.

Many Thanks!

Georgie :o

Hi Georgie,

Departures will alter during Daylight savings, during winter the displayed time in your post is correct departure time and in summer departures shift to 4.20pm for BA16 and BA10 goes back to 5.30 pm (I stand corrected)

Then again BA 16 will be no more as off October for few months.

There was a topic if you search for postings as it has been covered previously.

Thank you so very much! That was really helpful. Thank you also for the link to that thread, I should of thought to look for a thread of similar topic!
Has the daylight savings change always been in operation? I went about this time last year to see it and the times were no different.

By the way, I must say your photos are brilliant! I often comment on them on JetPhotos.net.

Hi Georgie,

As far as I know it always does change every year during daylight savings time.

Thank you, I do notice your comments popping up on my BA shots ;)
