Looks like the runway might need to be extended.The two aircraft traffic controllers are very funny.

Similar thing happened at YSRI in Nov 06

This sort of thing was one of the reason behind the rapid C17 acquisition, you don’t see anywhere near the amount of dodgy Russian transports doing Military charters now

It was taken from the control tower and took off from Rwy 17. This happened back in 2001. Azerbaijan Airlines was the the airline from memory.
