Todays flight was operated by F-OMAY.... I was under the impression that they had aircraft registered specifically for this route and these were F-OPAR F-OSYD etc to reflect the destinations. Or are the aircraft actually random.?

I think it's just random B777-200ERs. F-OSYD and F-ONOU are the new B777-300ER, I think they purchased them specifically for the route? Does anyone know when they will put the 77Ws on CDG-RUN-SYD-NOU? Both were delivered a while back.

If you checked the schedules for air austral you would note that the 2 B773 operates CGD-RUN only, because its a daily flight it would not have the time to operate the rest of the sector RUN-SYD-NOU. So its the B772ERs on the 3 SYD flights per week for a while, that is.???

FWIW,
772 F-OMAY is currently half way through a repaint in AMS. She will be the first 772 in the new REU scheme

Due to re-enter service today from CDG to RUN, with another 772 taking its place in the paint shop in AMS
