CBR-BNE transitioning (gradual progression) from 3x737s to 4xE190 per day too. Also middle of the day CBR-MEL becomes E190.
Anyone here in the know about the rollout of the E190s and what routes they'll be doing?

I notice extra BNE-AKL flights to coincide with the extra BNE-VLI and BNE-NAN
BNE-AKL appears to increase from 6 to 10 a week.
In regards to Pacific Blue and Solomons route they decided not to take it up presently.
BNE-CBR actually goes to 5 a day from next week.BNE-ROK also increases from 3 to 4 a day

Hi,
Pacific Blue must be adding a 7th 737-800 to the fleet because their current 6are pretty much fully utilised. Would it be VH-VUH that was repainted a few months back (at the same time as VH-VUB & VH-VUD but they already transferred from DJ to PB).
Regards,
Steve S.

Lloyd - BNE-CBR goes to 5 a day (3x737, 2xE190) as part of the progression to E190s but you'll find that in a month or so it settles back to 4x daily, all E190.
This may of course change - schedules seem to be changing every 2 weeks or so on average as the new planes get integrated into the fleet.

Also noticed additional weekend MEL-HBA and LST services for May and June. E190 or 737?

BNE-WLG appears to go from 3 to 5 a week .
Pacific Blue have increased BNE flights to 36 departures a week and BNE appears a real success story for this carrier .

New batches of schedules have been loaded for DJ. New services effective 22/7 and 22/8. Mainly CBR and HBA. MEL-CBR up to 6 daily (1 x EMJ, 5 x 737), MEL-HBA up to 7 or 8 daily (1 x EMJ, 6 or 7 x 737). Probably other routes as well. All changing very quickly at the moment.

Where do you see this, Kain? At the moment the DJ website is showing 3 or 4 MEL-CBR flights, even less than currently.

Hi Steve,
On the timetable, not the booking engine. I guess the updates are still being loaded, and for the first time ever the timetable is infront! MEL-CBR services depart MEL at 7:00 (EMJ), 8:15, 13:30, 15:25, 16:30 and 18:15 is now daily (used to be Thu,Fri,Sun only). Have a look and see if you find more new services.

Kain yes you are quite correct.
Also from late Aug, almost all CBR-ADL/MEL/SYD/BNE/OOL flts are E-Jets. BNE-MKY 2 daily E90. All BNE-ROK's. 2 BNE/ADL flights and the BNE/HTI flight are E90s. Aswell as MEL/HBA, look out for some extra MEL/ADL flights.

Usually such schedule increases are trumpteted via press releases, but I guess so much is happening so fast, they can't keep up! Just out of curiousity, are new schedules not deemed sufficiently important as to notify the ASX?

What happened to the 20 or so new routes DJ was going to open up with the Embraers? I can only think of SYD-ABX-SYD & SYD-CFS-SYD & SYD-CBR-SYD.

SYD-CFS-SYD already existed before the Embraers. I think you're thinking of SYD-PPQ-SYD.

So where are the 737's going that are being replaced?

So where are the 737's going that are being replaced?
SYD-PER increasing by 2 daily (now 5 daily) and BNE-PER going from daily to double daily, and an extra SYD-BNE at least. 1 of the extra HBA-MEL is a 737 (I'm pretty sure as it used to go HBA-ADL but that service has been retimed), and Radi suggests that there are extra ADL-MEL too.
It would be nice if they announced these, as I'm not sure how accurate the aircraft type is on the DJ schedules. E.g. it says CBR-BNE is 5 daily 73G but I'm sure they must all be E190. Others such as BNE-ROK, MKY, ADL, HTI say 73G but Radi is saying that they are E190 which is more believable to me anyway.
Perhaps someone from DJ can give a summary of the correct information?

BNE-SYD goes from 21 a day weekdays to 24 a day by 1 sep
Also BNE-MEL goes to 12 a day up from 11.
With all these schedule increases a total increase of 8 a day out of Brissie by Virgin takes it to 71 a day on weekdays which for the first time means more jet flights than Qantas has out of here.

With CBR-ADL going to an E-jet and being a flight that does quite well, any chance of a second daily service in the morning (here's hoping...)
