SYD-PER A330 Flights

Hey guys,

Was just browsing around the QF site looking to book my flights from SYD to PER and back in October and I realised the A330 rotations early in the morning (QF565 for SYDPER and QF574 and 642 for PERSYD) are only A330s up to end of September/early October reverting to B763s for almost the whole of October and November. Could this be because the timetables have not been updated with the rotations or just that they no longer need to reposition the A330s between the east and west coast cities?

One possibililty is that they may use them for extra flights for the AFL and NRL finals.

Could be because QF have been replacing 763 services with 333 and 332 services between SYD and CGK, and NZ flights have dropped to 734s. Maybe there's a few 763's that could go to good use to PER and leave some of the international config 332's to stay international.
