Thought it was awfully quiet this morning when I woke up and then saw the heavy fog. It was already lifting when I left for work as when driving Stanmore saw a Qantas 747 fly over

It looks like most of them have headed back here except for BA15 and QF320. As a result BA16 and QF319 this afternoon have been canceled.

The roar of a go-around woke me just in 6am this morning. Just looked in webtrack http://syd.webtrak-lochard.com/template/index.html to see what it was - Etihad it seems. Looked at a few tracks between 5am and after 6am and there were a whole heap of go around tracks.

The BA 777 has just called up for airways clearance at BNE for SIN.
Speedbird 9151 is the callsign.

Did the BA 777 go tech or were loads so light that they merged the two flights? A rather expensive diversion exercise to fly out empty back to LHR (presumably), though I guess they might pick up stranded pax in SIN?
