Hi all,

Is the Obsevation Deck at the Sydney Airport International Terminal still open to Photographers?

I have never been there, any tips you guys can give me for taking pics there?... (how to get to it, times etc) presumeably its still open that is.

Any info will be appreciated.

Cheers,
Jeff.

Yes, it's still open. Access is via the Volare cafe/restaurant, which is marked as D14 on the map:

Afternoons would generally be better for photography, after the sun has moved to the west.

this may be a dumb question, but as i have only to YSSY once are you able to go to the Observation Deck even though your not an international passenger seeming that it is located in int terminal.

i wish sometimes YMML reopened theirs. why did they close it?

thanks

Yes you can. The observation deck is located landside.
