Hi

I'm planning a trip up to Willy sometime next week - question for our resident experts - what's the best time of day to go in terms of number of arrivals etc? and is there a best day - I'm thinking Wed/Thur or Fri

I'm no expert yet, but Domestic arrivals are pretty slow. The Hornets fly alot, more than I expected when I 1st moved, but they stop about lunchtime on Fridays, so Wed or Thurs would be better. They start flying about 9-9:15am and finish mostly at 4ish. Fighter World is pretty good in the mornings but theres some trees blocking part of the runway. Hope that helps mate.

Thanks Tim - I recall from my last visit a couple of years ago a mini-rush of civil arrivals around 12.00 - 13.00 - Aeropelicans and Brindabella's mainly.

Thanks for the tip about the early finish for the hornets on a Friday
