Hi,

Anyone have any info on a Qantas link DH8D returning to Sydney today around 11:15 local? Seem to depart head south west with gear down and then return to Sydney...

Cheers

Not sure for the reason, but according to webtrak, QLink473D tracked down to Stanwell park then turned north and joined the approach. And its route information is SYD-SYD?
Interestingly i was on the back verhander at the time and had VAU2 fly quite low on its approach and it went all the way up to Glenorie before turning for the runway. Normally they are turning by the time if not before they get to my place.

VH-QOH was the machine, was followed to the terminal by fire appliances on landing. Seemed to land quite fast when it came in to.

Thanks Michael, it ended up departing at 3pm to Canberra. Was it the same aircraft that operated it does anyone know?

Edit: Looks like it was changed from a 8-400 down to a 8-300? Anyone able to confirm this?

I just spoke to a Qantas staff member stationed in Canberra and all he has been told is that QOH returned to Sydney
