From early next year, Tiger will be going to double daily flights on the MEL-HBA route.

Not suprising, MEL-HBA is one of the fastest growing routes in Australia at the moment.

Better late than never! Strange for them to start in February, just after the busiest month of the year traditionally; I guess that is when the aircraft gets here though?

More HBA-BNE seats are desperately needed too; I wonder if they can find a way to do these once they start MEL-BNE in late March? Maybe MEL-BNE-HBA-MEL and vice versa?

With new aircraft next year for TT,DJ and JQ you would think that some would get deployed down here!

Tiger is brave enough to do a ADL-HBA run. They could easily through in a few BNE-HBA flights and why not some PER-HBA flights while they are at it.;)

Not by much though. An extra 3 HBA-MEL per week (Dec 18-Jan 31, Mar 1-Mar 27) and an extra 3 LST-BNE per week (Jan 2-Jan 31, Mar 1-Mar 27).

They are still nearly a daily A320 short on HBA compared with April this year when they had 6 daily HBA-MEL and 2 daily HBA-SYD, which were filled with 83.4% and 82.6% load factors respectively. Then for peak season in one of the only destinations in the country that is growing, they offer fewer seats???

Also, QF have several additional 737 SYD-HBA-SYD services, plus some 767 services in place of existing 737 services on SYD-HBA-MEL.
