Too soon to tell yet, but it's likely to come down in the next couple of weeks before they start up with Air Nuigini.

The 190 arrives in BNE from POM just after dark so there may not be a photo op, so it looks like the cargo ramp over the Easter weekend is your nest bet.

Hi Guys,

Managed to get a picture of it today looks good. Virgins E190 was on the gate but had stairs in the way so couldn't get it but is suppose to be flying in the next few days so might get it then.

Jamie - not initially. SAW has deliberately left the fuselage bare so the name of lessees can be applied there if required. Not sure if they're going to put Air Nuigini titles there or not.

SkyAirWorld launches new Brisbane–Honiara schedule

SkyAirWorld has just announced that it will service a new Brisbane–Honiara route five times a week.
To begin from Wednesday the 16th of April, SkyAirWorld will become the only Australian carrier to offer a direct flight from Australia to the Soloman islands.

The weekly S9101/102 will be improved come the 6th of May, when SkyAirWorld plans to launch four additional services to operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
“Our new flight scheduling supports SkyAirWorld’s aim to help grow the tourism market to the Solomon Islands, carrying 45,000 passengers per annum between Australia and the Solomon Islands,” said David Charlton, SkyAirWorld Managing Director.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday services will be operated from Brisbane in the early morning, with a return flight in the late morning; and Friday and Sunday services will be operated from Brisbane in the evening with a late evening return service.

The E-190 is at BNE INT currently ready for a BNE-POM-SYD rotation today.

Should depart SYD at 0730 tomorrow for PX .

Technically you lose a PX painted aircraft and gain Skyairworld.(S9) although it will operate a PX flight and yes no titles on aircraft i believe.

Interesting that this new aircraft was transmitting ModeS only and not full ADS-B. Same situation as the Virgin Blue's Embraer E170s and E190s.
