Hello All!

First I would like to introduce myself. My name is Marcus, I'm from Hanover in Germany and I'm an enthusiastic plane spotter. In February 2010 I will be for a few days in Sydney and, of course, I'd like to take pictures at the airport.

I would appreciate if you could give me some tips. Therefore I've got some questions:
What are the best positions, where I can shoot photos without a step ladder?
Are there any photo positions in or at the terminals?
Is there any usual runway usage?
Are there positions to be avoided?
Are there any restrictions regarding security?

I'd like to thank you for your answers. And maybe we will meet in February...

Best regards
Marcus

Welcome to the Board Marcus, I have some airport information on www.16Right.com (http://www.16Right.com) under the YSSY Spotting menu. Also, the ACARS option will give you an idea of the aircraft/airlines that operate from Sydney.
