Anyone know how old the aircraft as i seemed to be producing enormous amounts of smoke during both taxi & take off. I arrived on a Rex flight this morning in Sydney & was lucky enough to taxi past it heading down to 34L.

Hi Jayden

It's one of the RAF's early ones which I think was delivered in 1968 or thereabouts. It was later converted to C3 standard but I'm not sure when.

Delivered Sep 1968 I believe - only a baby compared to some of the USAF C.135's:D

It was quite 'new' when I first saw it at an airshow at North Weald in May 1970.
