Whilst I am convinced, it would have been somewhat hairy to say the least, doubt a "crash landing" would have resulted in " The aircraft departed for the return flight with a delay of four hours"

Hey Geoff,
at least they quoted Avherald haha- site I visit very often- it is usually very good for factual info as the editor Simon, seems to have good sources and a fairly good overall knowledge of the industry.
In April I was on an Air France flight which had an RTO in europe, and return to gate with a 14 hr delay- and avherald had the details before we deplaned haha.

This version of the HS in MEL today, makes NO references to a crash landing, as I doubted when I made my original post.
You can get the gist of it though with the link title.
I wasnt telling porkies.
