I have yet to get a decent photo of this aircraft. Can anyone tell me how far ahead they plan which routes they use this a/c on and what it's schedule for the next week is? Thanks in advance.

I think it has just gone down to AVV so it will probably be there for the next 4 weeks having its first 'D' check.

Kidding... Where's it off to today and when will it be back in Sydney?

I'm sending it to HKG tomorrow as QF127 at 1200 local. It will be back Saturday morning as QF128 at 0810L. He then positions to Avalon at 1100L as QF6195.

So, go Saturday young man and you will get an arrival and a departure within 3 hours.

Unfortunately my friend the very reason I am in Australia is to play cricket... Saturday afternoon I shall be at Roseville Chase. D'oh!

Are you playing Shires or Grade? Shires is up at the Chase (good luck, it was never a good wicket...) whilst Roseville also play near Tennis courts near Lindfield, which is a slightly better track.

Grade, then you will be playing at Killara and that is for Gordon.

ETA: What sort of wicket do you want, I still know the guys there!!!

Playing Shires so at Roseville Chase. It's my second season over here and I know a bunch of the Gordon guys as they have played for my club side back home. This Saturday it'll be day 2. I took 4-31 last weekend on a dampish one. We're 88-3 chasing 123, so ideally we want a flatish one with a bit of spice for our bowlers later on as we go for the outright! With it forecast to be low 40s hopefully we can wear them down to a batting collapse, and with that heat I doubt my pics would have come out very well anyway!

Keep an eye out for the US departures in the afternoon - if 34L/R is in use, they'll come right over. They might provide a welcome distraction from fielding... I live just around the corner in East Roseville and get them most afternoons :D

Good luck with the match too!
