Just want to confirm something with you guys.

I'm travelling on a domestic flight tomorrow originating from the Qantas domestic terminal in Sydney. Would the 100ml per bottle limit apply for carry on baggage, like international flights? I'm thinking to bringing a bottle of wine with me to give to my friend in Melbourne.

Only International. Enjoy the wine.

I wonder how long it will be till the no carry on liquids applies to domestic flights.

Enjoy while it lasts.

If anything I would reckon common sense will prevail again and the restrictions will be removed from Int flights and hence not extended to domestic. Then again this is Australia and the Int restrictions I would imagine are turning into a good money earner for Sydney Int duty free.
