With the superhornets on there way, Thought Id share some footage of F-18 carrier landing. There are two parts going for 10mins each.

these videos show the difference between Naval Aviation and any other kind. The links below are two outstanding videos about F-18 carrier operations aboard the USS Nimitz bound for Australia and during weather that causes a severely pitching deck, which you can see in the videos. It's more dangerous than most combat missions and the tension in the pilots and crew is very apparent. Watch Part 1 first. Great videos

You have to hand it to those guys, the pilot's shaking hands after the landing said it all.

I would not want to land on an aircraft carrier on smooth seas.Did u see how much that bastard was pitching.They all deserve a medal
