Well Grahame, both those sites are very particular. I submitted 9 photos last Month. Took them 5 days to reject all of them with varying petty reasons but I was 10,000th in the queue so they certainly have a lot to choose from.
One of them was a reasonable sunset shot of Paris CDG ramp and was rejected because 'the horizon was not level!'
End of the day they suit me. All 3 of those I just posted would have been rejected because there are other planes in close proximity and the CL300 was tail on with doors open.

Agree Peter, I have over 800 shots on Airliners, but I have lost interest as they became very very picky about what they would accept, and sometimes the reason was very weak.

Don't get me wrong folks. The quality of the mainstream photo sites is very good but some people (including members of this forum) have airside access and some very good equipment and therefore in a better position to take top quality shots.

Id love to hear any info on this apparently DC-8, but for now.

B-6189 (http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6643323&nseq=4) an A318 from Mactan-Cebu International Airport(RVPM) is due into Cairns tonight at around 9:40pm. Owned by Yalian Business Jet group.

Also, the Omega Tanker N974VV DC-10-40 is currently parked at Williamtown possible to depart tomorrow sometime back to the US.

I read it is B-6186 not B-6189 as you put on your link. On the Cairns airport website it is due to depart to Sydney on Saturday morning at 1000.

Managed to get out for the DC8 and A318. The Dc8 was static for a while then once ground power was attached it taxied out to the 25 threshold then swung back in to the GA area.
