Well, seeing as my signature can only be 300 characters long I'm fast running out of space to put down some of the better quotes that have appeared recently on the board.

So to help me, and maybe even you, remember these magical one-liners I've decided to start a thread where they can be all be found for future laughs.
There is no need to include the thread link as to where they came from, but if you wish to, then that's up to you.

Now I don't expect people to go trawling through the archives looking for previous gems, but if one pops up in a post, then please put it here!
Here are a few to start with:

If you know something, say it..... if not, then best not to post at all.

...an airport is not an invitation for photographers going around doing whatever the hell they want.

Knowing at least half of what Nigel is talking about, I wholeheartedly agree with him!
This policy to me is a populist boondoggle.

Nothing has made me laugh on this board lately, as much as this recent one...

Finally, the collapse of Viva Macau further illustrates budget carrier will collapse at some point and will never work

Pity the old board isn't around - for there were some classic posts about some years back.

Trip reports from Craig Murray were always a ball of laughs.

Floody was always good for a few, not to mention his Spotting Weekend epic - and the subsequent 'suspension' of his account for the weekend the following year.

And emilyp was good for a giggle or 3.

Yes who could forget Emily and her Resocha obsession!

Granny Smith for me holds the most memorable amount of quotes for me with his take no bs sledgehammer wit!

Mike Kelly back in the day certainly was always in the news also.

And who could forget Mr Kirba "It takes a long time to get those hairdryers off the ground"

Monty & Jason White plenty of classics from those two also!

Ha-ha, same thing happened to me driving around the back of the eastern side of 16R in my work van near the fire station ( about 10 years ago ). I was trying to drive as close to the fence as possible to take some photos. The surface looked solid enough with a green coverage. Then when I came to a stop the van just sunk, I spent a few hours trying to get myself out until a industrial work vechile towed me out. I still dont know if it was the tower that organised the tow, because there was nobody in sight. Im sure the tower had a good chuckle.:o Just something else off the topic, still remember a helicopter landing in that same area outside the airport while I was shooting away, thought Id throw that in there, just a memory I had from taking photos from back there.
