Cabin pictures here (http://www.news.com.au/travel/galleries/gallery-e6frflw0-1225869553222?page=1).

P and J class are quiet disappointing (in my opinion). Not going with 'lie-flat' in J is a huge mistake.

in this day and age with a new aircraft like the A380 with much more floor space it's pretty bad they didn't go for horizontal flat beds. First class looks ok and very european, though seems to lack privacy

F looks ok, but the rest of it looks terrible...I was expecting something mindblowing from our German friends.

Teutonic efficiency?

They will be installing new fully lie-flat seats in business class on the A380 once they receive the 747-800.

They decided to keep the new business seats for the launch of the 747-800.

Please accept my total ignorance in this, but why not make the A380 J section right now?

I agree with others it looks ordinary at best.

Any new equipment like an A380 should set the benchmark I reckon.

Then it's up to the rest to endeavour to follow or surpass.

Kind regards,

Geoff

Having trouble getting your head around the fact that the new 747 is called the -8 aren't ya Mate

Is the economy class bathroom the same?

At least they were smart in using the space at the front of the aircraft for the first class toilets. Unlike Air France with their 'museum' waste of space or Qantas with the lounge.

Not 100% sure - But I did read in an article that they wanted to keep something up their sleeves for the B747-800

J class looks pretty much like 744 J maybe with bit more legroom?

Is a first class toilet really anymore important than a french museum and a mini-lounge... how long on average do passengers spend in these areas inflight and what proportion of pax in a flight get to use them?

regarding the J product I wonder what they will come up with!

Fully flat seats in J would be a good start.
