Jetstar Special Liveries

Hey everyone,

A bit of a shame for spotters that it looks like Jetstar are possibly removing the old specials. Obviously they were peeling off to begin with but its no good to see them good. Does anyone know why they would remove them? Contracts ending or just making the aircraft look tacky?

VH-VQQ - SeaWorld livery was removed earlier in the week.

VH-VQH - 'Go Roos' livery was removed within the last few days.

Perhaps VQP is next to come?

Does any body know if they are still offerring the opportunity to be a full "logojet" rather than a decal? I thought this was the big idea for extra $$$$ but after the Avis 717 and the aborted "Lynxjet" the idea seems to have fallen flat???

That is a shame. It would be nice if they still have around 5 aircraft with those decals. After seeing the Gold Coast Titans logo jet, I wonder if a new decal will be applied as thier jersey has changed significantly, as well as the players that are featured.

I agree Sarah. One thing is certain, the Titans logojet will probably be safe as the Gold Coast Titans' main spornsor is Jet Star.

It will be stripped on Tuesday night.

Apparently an A320 has had a Powderfinger logo decal attached to both sides of an aircraft. There is a video on a news website but I can't view it. Can't see the rego but looks like the band got photos with it.
