It also flew into Alice Springs Friday afternoon (30/7) just after one of the RAAF's BBJ landed.

I was in Mackay last week on business and when picking up my boss from Melbourne, I noticed VH-SWO parked on the apron just to the north of the Mackay Terminal. Mackay hosted a big three day Mining Expo last week, so it was maybe there as a charter of some sort.

It actually looks like VH-SWO has just landed in Townsville with the callsign 'Top End Nine Fourteen'

Dave, I believe that VH-SWO is flying with Tony Abbott.

Thanks Damien, that makes sense. I attended the Mining Expo in Mackay and Tony Abbott was a guest at the Expo on Tuesday, which is when I spotted SWO at Mackay Airport.

When I went to the airport Wednesday morning to pick up another of my fellow colleagues, also from Melbourne, SWO was gone.

The plane was parked up at DPO when I arrived at 12:40 pm yesterday with APU running and looking ready to board and depart. This is the first jet I have seen at DPO.
