Aircraft change to A380 are not loaded on schedules from 31 October, 2010 as yet. Will this restore the A380 on SQ222 and will inbound be SQ231?

So currently from SYD

2 x 77W
1 x 772/3 Older model/interior
1 x A380

Going to
1 x 77W
1 x 772/3 Older model/interior
2 x A380

They need to get rid of the 772/773 on the MEL/SYD flights

Currently MEL has
1 x 77W
1 x A380
1 x 773 -Refurbished interior - But only "Medium Haul" business class

Hopefully MEL gets another A380 with another A380's before the end of the year and another 2 in the 1st Qtr of 2011.

MEL won't get another A380 for a while.

Just not a fan of the "Regional business class product" when you have the long haul product on the other flights.

Needs to be a consistent product offering! But then again I am just an "armchair expert"

I just booked the SQ222 in First on KrisFlyer points 29JAN while still listed as 77W...looking forward to trying out Suites. But I got a feeling SQ will try and put me on another flight when they use their standard "no redemptions in Suites"...

Has this started early - or was the SQ A380 that departed this morning at 08.25 a special - I thought the SQ A380 usually departed later in the day. Incidentally does anyone know hich one it was?

thanks

SQ221 returns to SIN as SQ220 instead of SQ222. It has been doing this since late March 2010.

MEL will stay at 1xA380, 1x77W and 1x773.

If anything were to change it would see the 773 be replaced by a 77W.

Two daily A380's may happen during the week leading up to Christmas, But I would be putting my money a 744.

Singapore Airlines will be have a further six or seven A380s by the end of 2011, and then they may consider another A380 to MEL, But until then, it is going to stay the same.

Oliver, where do you get this info from?

I run A380Production.com

I have access to the latest Airbus schedules and airline schedules.

I know you run A380production.com but I'm really asking about your comments about what Singapore Airlines plan to do or not do. Are you on their Board or something?

One of the A380Production forum members works for SQ, I got that info from him.

Well it's true, At the start of every work day in Toulouse and Hamburg, Airbus update the production schedule for the A320, A330, A340, A350 and A380.

Our source's than forward them to us every day, But we only release the essential information (roll out dates, first and ferry flights, delivery dates).

Oh Oliver, I do hate to be a stickler for accuracy... But care to share some facts about this 99.9% accuracy rating you're giving yourself?

I would love to, But as there are so many it is hard to choose.

I don't care what you think about it, But it is obvious that thousands of people everyday read and enjoy it. We usually get over 5000 pageviews per day.

Is that because they're after a site which IS an Official Airbus website with correct and reliable information, and instead they stumble across an amatuer website by mistake? Hence it'd get counted as a "hit".

I wouldn't say that over 70% of our first time viewers come back for another look.

Plus they are NOT HITS they are PAGEVIEWS.

I can also tell you it is a lot more popular than YSSYforum. Alexa ranks YSSY at 494,000, while A380Production is ranked 261,000.

What is wrong with you guys (especially you grant). Who really cares what Oliver does or does not know, it is really none of anybody's business unless it is shared with us by Oliver which in this case it was.
