Inbound to Sydney later this evening, around 18:19 is DUB008, a B744, registration A6-GGP, under the operator of Dubai Air Wing / Royal Flight. Anyone know what this is for? :o

Proably either dorpping off or picking up horses. As i understand that is its main use. I stand corrected on that.

Parked right up on Bay 1 Cargo. My guess is it'll head out tomorrow morning.

My guess would be operating for Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoum, most likely importing his stallions from their Godolphin base - I think that means "Denman", who is coming back from Godolphin to stand at stud.

A6-COM is the rego an ex Air India bird first time visitor most likely after joining the Dubai Air Wing in 2008-ish.

Last aircraft I saw sitting down at Sydney was the KoreanAir MD-11F some years ago. That wasn't very pretty:eek:

I actually saw the plane leave DXB on my way back from Sharjah Airport on the 24th, got airborne about 1445 or so and headed north before making a huge left and flying past downtown Dubai, might have a pic of it on my phone somewhere.
