G'day all

Just thought I ask, as I've been trying to research this with very little success. I'm curious to know how many Fairchild Metroliners did Regional Express operate (Assuming they were inherited from Kendall and the likes) up until the type's phasing out from service from REX.

In addition, were the Metros confined to certain routes or were they very much spread out to all of REX's routes while they were in service?

Many thanks!

Thanks Phil and Paul

Any ideas on the routes these aircraft were deployed on? Or was it generally the then network?

G'day Maikha

I have the Rex DVD, on it the Metro did Sydney - West Wyalong return and Sydney - Bathurst return, I'm sure they did a few runs in S.A like Adelaide to Broken Hill , Ceduna , Coober Pedy and I remember Melbourne - Mt. Gambier - Portland once upon a time.

Not sure if it's still happening, but there was a Adelaide to Olympic Dam charter for BHP Billiton after they were retired.

I'm unable to put my hand to an old timetable at the moment, but when I do, I'll come back and let you know what I find... if no one beats me to it first :D

Regards
David
