Greg im not sure I follow? Whats the 14/05 part? You mean 14/08? As of yesterday/last night there has been no USAF aircraft in SYD.

Trout 99 is here, sitting on the DOM 6 apron.

It should be departing very soon. It filed to leave at 0210Z, which was 10 minutes ago.

EDIT: TROUT99 has just called tower ready, 0256Z

Tracking it from home on PP and Basestation looks like it flew at FL120 all the way.

was very lucky to get a quick glimpse in between cloud.

Not sure if it was related to the kc-135, I seen a C130 H or E model over at the cargo area this afternoon around 4pm. Could not make it out as I was driving, just to narrow it down it was grey ;-p

63-7980 is an interesting visitor.
Saw it parked on the ramp last november when I did a tour of Edwards AFB.
It is used as the Chief of Staff's aircraft and is nicknamed the Speckled Trout.
It recently replaced 61-2669

Noted earlier that the KC-135 was on Mode-S - no altitude. Time was around 8:40pm
