EK reduce Sydney

our middle eastern friends have decided to cull the 414/415 flight from this winter, this coincides with the additional LAX and IAH flights.

Sydney will now be served by the evening non-stop flight with the 380 and the one stop via BKK with the 77W.

EK415/414 is only suspended from 1/11/10 until the start of 2011 when it will be operated by 777-300ER equipment. Source Australian Aviation.

Forgive me for the possibly stupid question, but does this affect EK412/413 flights ??

No Rod it won't

Both EK412/413 and EK418/419 will remain unchanged.

EK412/413 will still do Dubai-Sydney-Auckland-Sydney-Dubai (A380-800)
EK418/419 will still do Dubai-Bangkok-Sydney-Christchurch-Sydney-Bangkok-Dubai (B77W)
