Having had the day off I have enjoyed watching comings and goings from Sydney Airport....with the help of the Plane Finder app on my phone (thank you to whoever alerted us to that one!!) Anyways, I'm a bit fuzzy on the schedules for Thai International. Sydney Airport website have their flt TG 475 coming in at 7.15am and flight TG471 coming in at 8pm (which I just saw on my app). The website also has the outward flights listed as TG 476 at 9.40am (which flew over my house) and flt TG 472 flying out at 3.25pm (which I am also pretty sure I saw flying over). That leaves the question of when did the incoming flight come in for the afternoon outward flight? And where is the outward flight form the evening flight that just came in given it's not on the Sydney Airport website departures information......if any of that makes sense.
cheers

G'day Steve,
The TG flight you're after is TG477 (http://www.thaiairways.com.au/thai_flight_schedules_desc.asp?city=sydney) which is scheduled to arrive @ 1205hrs

Thanks Grant, that clears up that mystery. I wonder why there are gaps on the Sydney Airport website flight information pages.

The aircraft that arrives at night (eg HS-TNA, TG471) will over night at the hardstand. The next morning another Thai flight (eg HS-TNB, TG475) will arrive early morning and depart streight away(TG476) at about 10am therefore leaving HS-TNA to opperate the afternoon service(TG472) back to BKK. Why they leave that aircraft on the ground for so long who knows but thats why there are 2 here at once.
To sum it up, The night flight opperates the next days afternoon flight.

Grant TG477 no longer exists.

TG471 used to go to BNE late evening. They must be doing direct flights now so no need for 471 to leave that night.

Thanks fellas for your responses. Tim your outline certainly clears up the logists. I hadn't missed the night Thai flight going over in the batch of curfew racers. Thanks again
