Evenning,
I was just wandering what kind of font was used on the australian aircraft registrations "VH-###"

There appears to be numerous fonts (possibly many) in use....I don't believe there is just one font. Maybe someone knows if CASA dictates a font/s, or merely uses language like "clear" and "ledgible"

No specific named font, but specific requirements in size and width. Also amount of slant allowable.
CASR 1998 Regulation 45 (its in Volume 2, available from the CASA website)

Josh, why don't you write to each airline and ask the specific question ?
No guarantee that you will get answers but it might be worth a try.

Errrr, there is no "specific" font.
It's whatever they want, so long as it's clear and meets the measurement specs.

Yeah just curiosty, i couldn't the difference between the airlinesa if any..
