Well 2, the one in my head & the one in Opera....
Well I think it's not in Opera but an addon... wish I could remember where it came from!

Will there be a grammar checker installed at some stage too?

Will there be a search function checker too?? :D So that Nigel and Floody don't lose their minds.

This is purely a rhetorical question. No need to reply or delete - please!

Well if you hadn't grown up in a sheltered workshop Chittock you wouldn't need a spelling or grammar checker......

On the other hand it appears to be mandatory for anyone residing south of Albury:D

"Speeling" has lost its way again!

It does make it very difficult to read posts when there/their/they're, too/two/to, along with other words such as aloud/allowed and my favourite spelling mistake (which I have seen typed in various guises) definately/deffinatly/definatley appears!

HELP!
Back me up on this one Nige!

David you forgot "could of", "would of" in place of "could have", "would have" and not forgetting the eternal battle of of and off. Eventually it's better for our mental health to try and overlook these errors and concentrate on the bigger battles. Take comfort in knowing that future generations will exhibit far more irritating habits and or omissions to exasperate the current poor speelers.

Eye halve a spelling chequer, it came with my PC;
It plainly marques four my revue miss steaks eye kin knot sea.
Eye strike a key and type a word and weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong or write, it shows me strait a weigh.
As soon as a mist ache is made it nose bee fore two long.
And eye can put the error rite, it's rare lea ever wrong.
Eye have run this poem threw it and I'm shore your pleased two no
It's letter perfect awl the weigh,
My chequer tolled me sew.

"Speeling" has lost its way again!

What do you mean again? Did it ever find its way back?

I'd suggest more users take advantage of the "preview post" button before hitting the "submit reply" button

Or you could just use Firefox which has an inbuilt spell checker that casts an eye over everything you type into the web browser.
