‎I just found this on the RAAF Facebook page.

29 Nov Flypasts’/displays (depending on weather, pilot availability, and aircraft serviceability).

The aircraft will fly at a relatively slow, majestic speed to allow photography and video of this iconic aircraft at an altitude not below 1000 feet (300m)
The aircraft will not be conducting a dump and burn or display manoeuvres.

...Up to 2 F-111 Richmond and Sydney NSW. The F-111s will conduct training approaches at RAAF Richmond Airfield and Sydney airport and fly over Sydney Harbour before continuing on their mission.
The F-111 route and timings are as follows (timings are approximate):
RAAF Richmond 1:00pm – 1:30pm
Aircraft will depart the Richmond area between 1:25 – 1:55pm for Sydney Harbour via Gladesville Bridge or Sydney airport subject to Air Traffic clearance
Expected time over the Harbour is between 1:30 – 2:00pm

Well in my opinion it was a waist of time. The weather was bad not the RAAFS fault. The Pig was cleared for Touch and Go but as soon as it dropped out of the clouds it went around and that was it.It was hardly visiable for about 5-10 seconds.Oh well it happens.

Yes Andrew, I knew it wasn't going to be any good for photo's, but I barely saw the Jet at all.

I made the mistake of sitting down the street at the end of the Base thinking that it would do a run right through, but it pulled up so early I only got a brief glimpse of it.

...but, as you said, it happens.
