According to my SBS log, A330-243 B-6081 is a first visit to SYD even though it has been with Air China for a few years.

According to my SBS log, A330-243 B-6081 is a first visit to SYD even though it has been with Air China for a few years.

B6081 belongs to Southwest branch of Air China, mainly operates domestic flights and regional flights (i.e. Hong Kong, Japan). It configures C 12 Y 271, and no PTVs installed in Y class (Compared to the international configuration A332 C 36 Y 215, with PTVs installed on every seat).

Air China only have four such A332s, they are B6070 B6071 B6072 B6081, and they all belong to the Southwest branch of Air China. CA currently doesn't have enough A332 to operate all international routes, you will see these four A332 from time to time in Sydney until the end of Feb when the next batch of new A332s joining the fleet. These four A332s have already been applied to MEL route for a couple of weeks.

Yes I had noticed B6070 doing a MEL service last month.
