I thought they were designated as KC-135's?

Mick, the Airforce refuellers are however I believe Omega is a civilian company that uses 707's as tankers. Their 707's still have the old engines too.

Anyone know what's happening to the 3 707's sitting at Richmond. I was of the understanding Omega were buying them?

Cheers

Just went past Willy, no Omega Tanker, however a KC-135 and a USAF C-17 were on the ground. The F-16's were still in their parking bays.

Omega's funding fell through - sadly, they'll be broken up for spares and scrapped! :(

I heard the opposite. I heard they are looking at getting them up ASAP.

Lets hope Omega do purchase them. I would love to be there the day they fly out

Same same Jason. Would love to see those fantasic aircraft fly again. I hope Andrew is incorrect on this one, although I can't imagine his sources not being reliable. It would be sad to see well maintained lengends of the sky having a sad ending.

They're pretty good, but last I heard was the end of last year...maybe things have changed?!?!
