Hey all.

I know this is the Sydney forum, but no harm in asking I guess...

I am flying on QF10 from LHR-MEL leaving Weds 23rd March 2011, arriving in MEL 25th March at 6:40am. I was wondering if anyone could tell me which Qantas A380 will be taking me? I guess the aircraft will be doing QF9 either Monday or Tuesday so if someone can let me know that'd be great.

Cheers

Charlie.

Looks like it will be VH-OQG at this stage.:D

Thanks Fred.

Can someone confirm once the aircraft is en route to London?

Cheers.

Hi Charlie

I would not rely on which aircraft is flying in as QF 9 and going back as QF 10 as sometimes in London Qantas swaps the aircraft on QF31 with the one that flew in as QF 9 and so on.

............and you are correct Brett.

OQG will arrive tonight as QF32 then depart as QF31 tomorrow and swap to the QF10 for Wed

Hi Jason. Thank you for that. Is that confirmed?

Based on where aircraft are at the moment, and diregarding any aircraft replacing delayed aircraft, it has to be VH-OQC or VH-OQG, and based on what Fred said (and he is normally correct), it will be OQG. It will be confirmed in about 2 hours when one of them leaves for LAX

Still OQG. It is due to leave for SIN at 1730 today for the run up to LHR.:D

VH-OQG operated QF31 but was delayed in SIN due to a lightning strike out of SYD followed by cylinder head temps on 2 engines through the roof. Was checked out in SIN and is all fine to continue to LHR.

Edit: it was actually Monday's QF31 sorry, VH-OQF

Thank you all, I will be on my way to Heathrow within the next hour or so!

That statement is not appropriate for a Jet aircraft.

Where did you get that info?

whoops, didn't even think of that Fred.

All I heard, from a member of the crew, was that two engines were 'running hot'.
