Thanks for the update Gerald.

I've noticed an appreciable slowing down of A330 and B777 deliveries by both Airbus and Boeing over the last two months so I doubt they will be able to match last year's efforts.

According to my records, only 1 and 2 respectively so far this month after 5 and 4 in April, compared to the first quarter average of 6 and 7.

Thanks a lot Gerald for the info update. :)

Great to finally see some info on the V Australia birds. I hadn't realised that the 772ER still had so many orders left since it's pretty much be a 77W show in terms of orders in recent times.

Is there any approximate schedule as to when the first V Australia 77W will be delivered, or at least any rough time frame for when it will leave the paintshop?

Can't wait!!

I have heard November is when the first V Australia B77W is to be delivered, I read somewhere that part of the tail section that is built here in Australia for the B777's for the first V Australia aircraft has been sent to the USA.

Thanks for that Marty. :)

So I guess that means our resident 'BFI Guy' - aka: Scott L will be out snapping photos of the first VA aircraft around October. :D

Shameel and Marty,
Sorry for the delay in seeing this. The aircraft is not due out for several months yet. Before this there are a couple of QF and DJ 738's to head home.
In other Seattle news, the first 772LR frieghter rolled out of the paintshop yesterday in the 'Worldliner' livery. Looks even better on a frame with no windows :)
Scott.
