Hearing reports of a helicopter crash in the Batemans Bay area this evening..rescue underway, Southcare 1 and Rescue 26 on scene.

Explains helicopter heading south over nowra about an hour ago.

Pretty crappy weather here at present.

Information I have was VH-RUR (R44), crashed into the sea about 1/2 mile of the coast at Batemans Bay. Pilot survived, passenger deceased.
