I just happened to notice on the Wikipedia page for Adelaide Airport (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adelaide_Airport) that Garuda Indonesia are resuming flights from Adelaide to Denpasar on 11 December.
There is no source and I can't find anything else on it - but does anyone know any more information? It's great to see another airline for Adelaide.

Justin,
There was a rumour on airliners.net about a month ago stating Garuda would return to Adelaide operating Jakarta-Adelaide 3x times a week using A330-200's. The rumour quickly went down the drain.
There has been no mention of garuda intending to start any Adelaide flights. There was hope a year and a hal ago when they were getting all these new B738's they were going to use them on DPS-ADL, but agian never eventuate.
If Garuda were to start Adelaide I dare say they would do DPS-ADL with B738's in order to compete with Virign. although From what I understand they are trying to make Jakarta more of a business/connection hub to other ports in Asia. Denpasar is in a market of its own for Garuda as it is a holiday destination.
You never beleive half the stuff you read on wikipedia about airports.

Once again, the Wikipedia page for Adelaide Airport shows Garuda Indonesia resuming flights to Denpasar, this time from November 3, 2013. There is no reference and a quick Google search found nothing.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Justin, what you can do is search the history of edits on the Adelaide page and it will show who posted the info then you ask them by going onto their 'talk page' about it.\
But they should always put a reference or source up for such statements.
