VH-VBK departed MEL last night around 2300 with its reg as its callsign,anyone know where it was going,end of lease?

Paul try using webtrak and it will tell you .

Just had a peek on webtrak it shows a 737 departing for NZCH around 2305 with no extra info. According to ch aviation this is one of the aircraft going to Aerolineas Argentinas shortly so I'd assume if it's heading for Christchurch either end of lease or a maintenance check.

Nothing sinister, and it's not leaving the VA fleet any time soon, it's getting a re-paint too

I thought all but two of the 737-700s were leaving the fleet, VBY & Z the exception.

When does VBK's lease run out?

It must not be too far off returning to service? If it is painted - I can-t wait to see it...

I wonder if the "Lady Victoria" name will be changed to the name of a beach...
