This afternoon at Richmond I noted Singapore AF KC-130H 734. No activity, so it will probably still be around tomorrow for those of you who want to take a look.

I live at the Northern end of Londonderry DZ and have noticed it
conducting drops there over the past few weeks

I know that they used to go out to Parkes (CTAF airport in Central Western NSW) every 2 years & practise their parachute drops. Usually out there for about a 3-4 weeks but I dont know if they do it anymore?

This C130 has been doing low level navex's for a couple of weeks now.Normally uses callsign Rider28.Low level out of Ric for about an hour then back in low level via Londonderry drop zone nocom most of the way.Have'nt seen the PKS sortie for a couple of years. That one used to operate out of Nowra from memory.

Thanks for all the additional info! If the C-130 remains the same over the entire period, they probably change crews regularly. Does anybody know whether the deployment involves additional SingAF movements at Richmond? If so I should travel to Richmond more often!:)

There were two of them a coupla weekends back.
One was going back and forth between base and the DZ using "Rider 48" callsign, and the other headed west for a while before returning; using "Condor" with no flight number.
So they've been here a while now, and it sounds like one has gone home already. Something a bit different is always nice to see :)
