Unrelated, but it seems to be the day for it... :(
AN ultra-light plane has crashed on the New South Wales north coast.
The NSW Rural Fire Service says its crews are heading to the site after receiving reports about the incident.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said four ambulances and police are on scene.
The crash is believed to have happened on Yellow Rock Rd at Raleigh, near Urunga.
There are also reports of smoke in the area.
No further details were immediately available.

Indeed a very sad day ... The aircraft in question was a Kestral amphibian aircraft , a relatively new type in Australia , and registered with RAAus as a recreational aircraft . My condolences to the bereaved families .

One of the deceased was reported by ABC radio this morning as Mr Peter Frith , a Qld based pilot and distributor of the aircraft to whom the above referenced website in the previous post relates to . A very sad day , a pilot who was experienced , but more importantly a father of 3 .. R.I.P to both persons ..
